Strangford Castle, Castle Street

 

Strangford castle is a simple 16th century Tower House with drop hold at roof level to defend the door.

 

The castle was built to control ships entering Strangford Lough.

 

We are lucky to share our street with this beautiful historical building....The Castle Apartment!
